Once you installed the best PDF editor on your computer, launch it from your desktop. You have three ways to add the watermarked PDF into the program, drag and drop the PDF into the interface, click the File -> Open to import the file, or double-click on the PDF if you have set the program as the default PDF viewer.
Step 2: Remove a watermark from the PDF
Next, click the Pages menu on the menu bar to open the corresponding toolbar. Choose the Watermark option on the toolbar to open the watermark dialog. Then select the remove watermark option to scan your PDF, detect the watermark and erase it.
If you want to prevent others from watermarking your PDF, click Protect menu, select the Protection tool and type your password on the pop-up dialog. Click OK to confirm it.
Step 3: Save the final PDF

Microsoft Word is a way to create PDF documents and convert a PDF to an editable file. So, you can remove the watermark from the PDF. But this way is not valid in some situations, such as the watermark covering important text and scanned PDFs.
Step 1. Open the MS Word program, and click File -> Open to open the watermarked PDF file. When prompted, click OK to convert the PDF to an editable file.
Step 2: Next, go to the Page Layout tab from the top menu bar, go to the Page Background section and click on the Watermark option.
Step 3: You will see a pop-up dialog with several watermark patterns. Scroll down, click on the Remove Watermark option and remove the watermark from the PDF.
Step 4: Finally, convert the file to PDF. Go to File -> Save as and select PDF, or choose to Create PDF/XPS Document from File -> Save & Send.
Google Doc is the cloud-based official kit released by Google. It allows you to remove the watermark from PDF online. If you prefer to back up your documents to Google Drive, it is the easy way to complete the task of watermark removal.
Step 1: Access Google Drive and sign in to your Google account that you used to save the watermarked PDF. Or you can upload the PDF from your hard drive.
Step 2: Then go to the File menu and find the Upload Settings area. Check the box next to Convert text from PDF and image files to Google documents. Now, the watermarked PDF will become editable.
Step 3: Click on the unwanted watermark and hit the Delete button on your keyboard to remove it. Repeat it to the watermark on other pages.

Note: Google Doc does not offer any option of watermark removal for PDF, so you have to delete each one manually. It is a disaster if the PDF includes hundreds of pages. Plus, some PDFs cannot decode by Google Docs.
