From this point, we recommend WidsMob PDFEditor, which integrates a wide range of pro-level PDF editing tools in a way that people can master quickly. Its key features include:
All in all, it is the easiest way to add a watermark to a PDF document without damaging quality.
Step 1: Import the PDF into PDF editor
Download the best PDF editor from the official website, double-click on the installer file, and follow the on-screen instructions to install it to your computer. Then launch it and add the PDF that you want to protect with a watermark. Here you have three methods, drag and drop the PDF file into the interface, or choose the Open option in the File menu to import the document. Alternatively, you can set the program as the default PDF viewer and double-click on the PDF file to open it directly.
Step 2: Add a watermark to the PDF
After importing the PDF, click the Pages menu on the menu bar to open the Pages toolbar. Then select the Watermark to open the watermark pop-up dialog. Here you can find several custom options. Firstly, decide to add text or image watermark. For a text watermark, set the appearance, such as font, size, color, and more. Then click the OK button and put the text watermark in the correct position. If you want to add an image watermark, load the image from your hard drive, set the custom options, and hit OK. Next, change the watermark position and size.
Step 3: Save the watermarked PDF
Once you add the watermark to one page of the PDF, it will appear in the same position as other pages. If you are not satisfied with it, remove the watermark and re-watermark the PDF. Finally, press the Ctrl + S keys on your keyboard to save the watermarked PDF. If you do not want to replace the original PDF file, save it as a new PDF.
Web-based apps are always a convenient option to add a watermark to a PDF online. With them, you do not need to install any software on the computer. Web PDF editors also have shortcomings. First of all, you need a great network connection; otherwise, it will freeze when uploading PDF. Plus, most online apps do not allow you to preview the watermark. Step 1: Open the web PDF editor in your browser and click the Select PDF file button to open a PDF file that you want to watermark from your hard drive. Or upload a PDF from your Google Drive or Dropbox.
Step 2: Locate the right side and go to the Place text tab to add a text watermark to the PDF. To add an image watermark, skip to the next step. Type the text into the box under TEXT, select the font, size, and more under Text format. Decide where the watermark locates under POSITION. Then set the TRANSPARENCY, ROTATION, Pages, and Layer of the text watermark based on your wish.
Step 3: Go to the Place image tab on the right side, click ADD IMAGE button to upload the picture from your computer. Next, set the POSITION, TRANSPARENCY, ROTATION, Pages, and Layer simply.
Step 4: Click the Add watermark button to start adding watermark to a PDF. Finally, click the Download PDF with watermark button to get the result PDF file. Alternatively, click the hyperlink icon to share the final PDF via URL or QR code.
